Mr. Md. Mehadi Mobarak Aman is a dedicated mental health professional with over seven years of experience in psychosocial counseling, mental health training, and psychological support services. He earned his Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Dhaka and his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Chittagong.
He is a Master Trainer in the Mental Health Gap Action Programme (mhGAP) and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), certified by the World Health Organization (WHO). He is also certified in Transactional Analysis (TA-101) by the International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA), USA, and is a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner accredited by the American Board of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (ABNLP), USA.
Additionally, he has received specialized training in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Clinical Mental Health Diagnosis, and Psychosocial Interventions, strengthening his expertise in evidence-based mental health care and psychological support.
Currently, he serves as a Senior Psychosocial Counselor at Moner Bondhu, where he provides individual, couple, and family counseling services, facilitates mental health training and capacity-building programmes, and contributes to the design and implementation of psychosocial support initiatives. He has played a significant role in delivering mental health programmes for corporate organizations, educational institutions, and community-based projects across Bangladesh.
His areas of expertise include adolescent mental health, ADHD, depression, anxiety, relationship and couple counseling, personality disorders, parenting and family counseling, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, emotional wellbeing, and self-growth.
